The people of Iran are proud of their Persian language, Farsi. Farsi is written using the Arabic alphabet. The special thing: The Persian alphabet is richer in four additional letters: Pe, Če, Že, Gāf. Many words with these four letters are deeply rooted in the persian historical culture and mentality.

The book is a typographic homage to the four persian letters. Without them many essential persian words would not exist. In the book, the letters are honored by designing each inspired by the meaning of the persian word. The different variants show the multifaced nature of the letter and the Persian Iran and are complemented by texts, graphics and recipes. The book provides the viewer insights in the Persian Iran.
